In fiscal 2021, Volkswagen group experienced an impressive growth in net revenues. Its revenues from automotive sales and financial services division increased compared to the previous year. The company generated €43.963 billion from financial services compared to €40.778 billion in 2020. 

The sales revenue of the Volkswagen Group from the automotive division fell in 2020 but increased from the financial services group. Its sales revenue from the financial services group remained €40.8 billion in 2020 compared to €40.2 billion in 2019. The company's total sales revenue remained $222.9 billion in 2020 compared to €252.6 billion in 2019.

VW's revenue from the financial services division grew to € 34,782 million in 2018 from € 33,733 million in 2017.
