The number of active buyers on ebay at the end of 2021 was more than 147 million compared to 185 million at the end of the previous year. The company had 17 million sellers on its platform at the end of 2021 compared to more than 19 million at the end of the previous year.

The number of active buyers/customers on ebay increased to 179 million in 2018 from 170 million in 2017. The number of live listigns globally also increased to over one billion in 2018.
