Michael and Susan Dell commit 15 million to Ukraine Crisis

Michael Dell announced today on Linked In that he and Susan Dell had committed $15 million to help the people of Ukraine. He noted in his Linked In post that he and Susan stood with the people of Ukraine during this time of need and everyone who was generously donating during this critical time.

"Susan and I are committing $15M to support families in Ukraine. We firmly stand with the people of Ukraine and everyone who has generously offered support during this humanitarian crisis. We pray for safety and peace for Ukraine and the world. 💙💛🕊️"


On its philanthropy website, Dell.org (Michael and Susan Dell foundation), Dell has noted that the Ukraine crisis is growing worse every day as children and families are facing desperate circumstances there.

People in Ukraine are facing unimaginable difficulties including the loss of basic resources and health care. They are being forced to flee their homes in Ukraine for their safety and women are being separated from their families.

Dell has published a list of organizations in Ukraine that are committed to providing medical supplied for families and resettlement support for refugees leaving Ukraine. The list includes the following organization:

  • flexport.org
  • International Medical corps
  • JDC
  • Jewish Agency for Israel
  • Doctors without Borders and
  • Samaritan's Purse

According to Statista, the number of civilian casualties in Ukraine since the Russian invasion is 516 including 37 children. The number of wounded was 908, including 50 children.
