2023: The marketing expenses of Nike again increased in 2023 and reacheed higher than $4 billion in 2023. Nike spent a total of $4,060 million on marketing or demand creation in 2023 compared to $3,850 million in 2022.

2022: The marketing expenses of Nike (demand creation expenses) increased 24% in 2022 compared to the prior year. Nike spent $3,850 million in 2022 on marketing and promotions compared to $3,114 million in 2021.

2021: Nike’s marketing expenses have continued to decline over the past two years. In 2021, the company spent $3.114 billion on advertising and promotions compared to $3.592 billion in 2020.

Marketing expenses of Nike Inc (also called demand creation expenses) grew by 5% in 2019 compared to the previous fiscal. The comany spent $3.75 billion on marketing in 2019 compared to $3.57 billion in 2018.

Marketing expenses of Nike Inc grew to $3.6 billion in 2018 from $3.34 billion in 2017.
