Google's Cloud Revenue grew by around 53% in last quarter of 2019

Google's Cloud Revenue has grown by around 53% in 2019 compared to 2018.

 Google Cloud revenue was 5.5% of the total revenue of Alphabet from the Google segment in 2019 compared to 4.3% in 2018. Alphabet has divided its business into two segments including Google and other bets. From 2018 to 2019, the cloud revenues of Google grew by around 53% or $3,080 million reaching $8.92 billion. 

The cloud revenues of Google mainly include the revenue generated from cloud offerings including:

  • The Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that includes infrastructure, data and analytics, and other services.
  • GSuite Productivity tools and other enterprise cloud services by Google.

The GCP and GSuite offerings of Google have continued to grow stronger driving the growth of its cloud revenue. Google's infrastruture and data and analytics platform products were the main drivers of growth in GCP in 2018 and 2019.
