2021: The business of Delta Airlines has felt the bitter impact of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. While the situation has improved a little in 2021, it has still not returned to the prepandemic levels. In 2022, the company expects the demand to grow domestically. Delta generated $24.3 billion from its domestic market in 2021 compared to $13.34 billion in 2020. Its revenues from the Atlantic region also improved rising to $2.54 billion in 2021 compared to $1.65 billion in 2020. Delta's revenues improved from the Latin American region but declined in the Pacific in 2021 compared to the previous year.
2018: The entire business of Delta Airlines is divided into four segments on a geographic basis. US is the largest geogrpahic market followed by Atlantic, Latin America and Pacific. Revenue of Delta Airlines from USA market was $31.2 billion, $7 billion from Atlantic and $3.2 billion from Latin America. Revenue of Delta from the Pacific geographical segment was $2.98 billion.
