In fiscal 2021, Dollar General generated $26,258.6 million from consumables compared to $25,906.7 million in 2020. Consumables are its largest product category based on net sales. Its revenues from seasonals in 2021 remained $4,182.2 million compared to $4,083.7 million in 2020.

The net revenue of Dollar General from home products in 2021 remained $2,322.4 million compared to $2,210 million in 2020. The company's net sales in 2021 increased from all product categories except apparel. Its net revenues from apparel declined to $1,457.3 million in 2021 compared to $1,546.6 million in 2020.

2020 vs 2019:

In fiscal 2020, consumables accounted for 76.77% of Dollar General's net sales compared to 77.96% in 2019. Dollar General's net revenues from the sales of consumables reached $25.9 billion compared to $21.64 billion in 2019.

Dollar General generated 12.1% of its net revenues in 2020 from the sales of seasonal products compared to 11.74% in 2019. Its net revenues from the sales of seasonals reached $4.084 billion in 2020 compared to $3.26 billion in 2019.

Home products accounted for 6.55% of Dollar General's net sales in 2020 compared to 5.81% of its net sales in 2019. The company generated $2.2 billion from the sales of home products in 2020 compared to $1.6 billion in 2019.
