2021: In 2021, the net revenues of Citigroup declined to $71,884 million compared to $75,501 million in 2020. The company experienced a decline in net sales across both the business segments including Global Consumer Banking (GCB) and Institutional Clients Group (ICG). Its net revenues from Global Consumer Banking declined to $27,330 million in 2021 compared to $30,342 million in 2020. Citigroup's net revenues in 2021 from the ICG group declined to $43,887 million compared to $45,088 million in 2020.
The business of Citigroup is divided into three units which are Global Consumer Banking (GCB), Institutional Clients group (ICG) and Corporate/other. GCB is the largest business segment of the three based on revenue. ICG generated $36,994 million in revenue in 2018, ICG $33,777 million and corporate/other $2,083 million.
