The BMW Group's net profit was down to €3.86 billion in 2020 from €5 billion in 2019. Its net profit declined by 23.2% in 2020 compared to the previous year. The group's net revenue remained 99 Billion Euros for 2020, down from 104.2 billion Euros in 2019.

In 2021, the company experienced solid growth in its net profit compared to the previous year. The group's net profit increased to €12,463 million in 2021 compared to €3,857 million in the previous year.
