BMW has significantly grown its production and sales of electric models in the last three years.
In 2020, the BMW Group delivered 192,662 electrified vehicles compared to a total of 146,158 units in 2019.
2021: The sales of BMW electric vehicles jumped 70.4% in 2021 compared to the previous year. The company sold 328,314 units of electric vehicles in 2021 compared to 192,662 units in 2020. Especially, the all electric models of BMW were enjoying strong demand in 2021 compared to the previous year. The sales of all electric models in 2021 grew 133.2% compared to the previous year. BMW sold 103,854 units of all electric models in 2021 compared to 44,541 units in 2020.

BMW deliveries of electric models increased to 142,617 in 2018 from 103,080 in 2017.
