2022: Apple experienced growth in sales across all geographic segments in 2022 except Japan. The Americas accounted for the largest part of its net revenue or $169.7 billion followed by Europe from where Apple generated $95.12 billion in 2022. Sales across japan declined to $26 billion in 2022 from $28.5 billion in the prior year. Its net sales in Greater china grew to $74.2 billion in 2022 from $68.4 billion in 2021. The company experienced a growth of $3 billion in its net sales in the Asia Pacific region.

Apple’s largest geographic segment is the Americas. In 2021, the company generated $123.3 billion in net revenues from the Americas compared to $124.56 billion in 2020.

Europe is the second largest geographic market of Apple which generated $89.3 billion in 2021 compared to $68.6 billion in 2020.

In 2021, the company generated $68.4 billion from Greater China compared to $40.3 billion in the last year. The company’s revenues from China grew  by 70% from China in 2021 compared to 2020.

Apple’s largest individual market is the United States followed by China. Apple generated $133.8 billion in net sales from the United States market in 2021 compared to $109.2 billion in 2020. 

Apple’s revenues from Japan remained $28.5 billion in 2021 compared to $21.4 billion in 2020. The company also generated $26.36 billion in 2021 from the rest of Asia Pacific compared to $19.6 billion in 2020.
