Airbus is a leading aerospace player and  a  major competitor of Boeing. The company designs, manufactures and sells industry-leading commercial aircraft, helicopters, military transports, satellites and launch vehicles, as well as provides data services, navigation, secure communications, urban mobility and other solutions for customers on a global scale.  The Airbus (commercial aircraft) is the largest segment accounting for the largest part of the brand's revenue. In 2018, Airbus delivered total 800 commercial aircrafts as well as 356 helicopters and 17 A400m aircraft.

In 2018, the revenue of Airbus Company rose to € 63.7 billion from € 59 billion in 2017.
